Variational formulations of Dirac dynamics
We will start with a quick introduction to Dirac geometry as an approach to dynamics under constraints.
Then we will disucss (cohomological) obstructions to the variational formulation of Dirac dynamics. (based on joint work with Oscar Cosserat, Camille Laurent-Gengoux, Alexei Kotov, and Vladimir Salnikov)
