Optimality of gradient-type estimates
First we remind some classical gradient-type estimates. We show that theese estimates cannot be improved within the class of Lebesgue spaces. We introduce a wider class of function spaces -the rearrangement-invariant spaces. We show some improved estimates that can be obtained within this class and discuss their optimality.
